Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas with Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Burial under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home in Abilene.
Grace was born on August 7, 1927, to the late Henry J. Smith and Muriel (Nolte) Smith. She married H.B. Smith in 1951. They moved to Pecos, Texas where she was a hairdresser for 30 years owning her own shop for five years. H.B. passed away in 1994. Grace lived in Pecos until 2005, then moved to Abilene to be near her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Ray Cassell. She married Clarence Tucker in 2008.
She is survived by Clarence’s son Gary and his wife Becky and his two grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter Joy Cassell; a son, Steve W. Smith and his wife, Traci of Buffalo, TX; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Ron Cassell.
