Jane L Tift

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

Jane was born May 13, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her parents were the late Dorothy (Crane) and James Lindsey. She was a secretary for Equitable Life Insurance Company until her retirement. Jane was a charter member of the Texas Tickers Investment Club; secretary for the Abilene A & M Club for three and a half years; and a member of Texas Livestock Investment Club.

Jane was preceded in death by a son, Duffie Tyler; two brothers, Eugene Lindsey and Jerry Lindsey; and a sister, Peggie Sharp.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Lorz and husband, Leon, of North Dakota and Donnie Tyler of Tuscola, Texas; a brother, Donald Lindsey of Texas; three granddaughters; six great-granddaughters; and her beloved dog, Biggie.
