Jennifer Lyn Cypher joined her parents after an extended battle with multiple health issues in Abilene, Texas on July 31, 2025. She was born on January 2,1978 in Dallas and was adopted by SSgt Patrick Cypher and Deborah P Cypher-Nelson in June of 1978. She lived most of her life in Texas, mostly in Abilene, and was a resident at Disability Resources for the past 23 years. She enjoyed the friendship and companionship of the residents at DRI. She was always ready for work and especially for all social events, but her favorite thing in life was eating- especially chicken fried steak.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, SSgt Patrick L. Cypher (1981), her mother, Deborah P. Cypher-Nelson (2011), her maternal grandfather, Phillip M. Vivas, and her paternal grandparents, Jerome Cypher and Marjorie Rhyner Cypher.
Jennifer is survived by her brother, Patrick Cypher (Kristy), her sisters Elizabeth Cypher and Brittany Winnett (Jacob) and Stepfather Jim Nelson (Patti), her maternal grandmother Peggy Vivas, her uncle Mallory Vivas (Joanne), aunts Elizabeth Turner (Steve) and Burma Brummitt along with many cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
