Jessica Davila Bennett

Jessica Davila Bennett, 24, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011, in Austin. Funeral services will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Beltway Park Baptist Church, under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. Visitation will be Friday evening, November 18, 2011 from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

Jessica was born July 13, 1987 in Greenville, TX, the daughter of Shirley Starks Davila. She was a lifetime resident of Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School Class of 2005. As a young child, Jessica survived a near death experience due to a rare medical condition and became a Children’s Miracle Network Child.

She was employed by Wright Capitol Corp. as a Senior Account Executive. Jessica was a very loving and compassionate person that was extremely active and athletic. She enjoyed working out, playing tennis, going fishing with her fiancé, Ross and spending as much time with her family and friends as possible. Jessica was an animal lover and had two dogs, an American Eskimo named “Furry” and a new baby poodle named “Charlie”.

Jessica will be loved and missed dearly by all of her friends and family. She was an inspiration to many and loved by all.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Starks Davila; her twin sister, Chasity Brown; her fiancé, Ross Bennett; two half-brothers; and two half-sisters.
