John Ross Greeson

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories with Danny Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Johnny was born on November 9, 1944 to Harold and Hazel (Steel) Greeson in Abilene, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Abilene. Johnny was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His passion was his faith, his family and his music. He was a professional drummer since the age of 16 and Johnny was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Greeson of Abilene; his son Chad and wife, Heather of Cedar Park, TX; his daughter Andrea Taylor and husband, Lance of Abilene; four grandchildren, Ramsey Greeson, Chandler Hartgraves, Chase Hartgraves and Cameron Hartgraves.
