Born June 25, 1975, Steve dedicated his life to faith, family, and community. Steve was a proud and devout Christian, he spent over 30 years refining and mastering his craft as a welder, his creative sparks lighting up not just metal, but all who had the pleasure of knowing him. This is a testament to his dedication and strength. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church pouring his heart into the community he cherished so dearly. Steve was truly easy to love and hard to hate — the kind of person who could crack a joke with someone he’d just met, bringing a smile with his hilarious Donald Duck impressions. He loved his Dallas Cowboys till end and his favorite past time was casting a real at the lake, loved his Tejano Music and grilling up some BBQ. For over 10 years he participated in St Vincents Ballet Folklorico Group. He never judged, but instead, embraced everyone with an open heart. Steve’s warmth and generosity were unmatched. His knack for lightening the mood with a well-timed joke was always a hit, and he never judged, no matter the trials he faced himself. Steve cared deeply for everyone, always taking time to check in and lend a helping hand or a listening ear whenever it was needed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Candelario and Francis Molina; maternal grandparents, Gabriel and Jesusita Badillo; and his first grandson, Kainoa Molina.
He leaves behind his daughters, Alyssa Atkins and her husband Damon Atkins, Makayla and Dacey Molina, and Monique Heidelberger; his loving parents, Juan and Irene Molina; his brother, Ruben and sister-n-law Stephanie Molina; his sister Margie Molina; his grandchildren, Leilani , Avianna , Dailan , Noah, Christian and Mateo, and special friend Rosella Ruiz.
His family, along with countless friends and community members, mourn the loss of a man with the biggest heart. As we remember Steve’s vibrant spirit and infectious laughter, we're comforted by his favorite Bible verse, John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
May Steve rest in eternal peace, embraced by love and surrounded by laughter in the heavens above.
