I was sad to hear about the death of Julie Lanphere. She was a great friend and one of my favorite Air Force officers. Julie was stationed with me at my last two duty stations, and attended my rertirement ceremony, in 1992.

A wonderful person who was my friend for a very long time. I will miss our University of Texas football games especially the Veterans day game and the alumni band day. We spent the weekend in a hotel and had great girls weekends. I will always love her and thank god she blessed my life. To her family I am sorry for your loss but now the best is yet to come for Julie. Cynthia Nickerson
