

Kaleb Cory, age 19, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Kaleb was a 2013 graduate of Cooper High School where he lettered in football for the Cooper Cougars. He was an avid outdoorsman with a special love for fishing, boating, camping and snowboarding.
Kaleb was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth Ann (Ginny) Ray, Robert Donald (Pappa Duck) Ray and Douglas Eugene Cory; and his aunt, Carolyn Ray Aycock.
Survivors include his parents, Brent and Kriste Cory; brothers, Branden Cory and fiancée, Katherine Turney, and Reese Cory; grandmother, Glenda Smith; aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Willie Ferguson, Kyle and Teri Ray, Doug and Debra Cory, and Melinda and Steve Murphy; and numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Broadview Baptist Church, 2500 S 27th Street. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at Broadview Baptist Church with Rev. David Cason and Rev. Rick Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be DJ Morgan, Forrest Rickard, Jaron Polanco, Victor Chavez, Kerry Sims, Nick Stover, Eddie Teague, Casey Waits, Charles McGill and Leif Daughtery. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Kaleb’s memory can be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, Abilene, TX.
