Karen L Gorham

Karen Lynn Neal Gorham was born September 22 nd, 1955 in Sherman, Texas to Douglas and Patsy Neal. She was a 1974 graduate of Abilene Cooper High School and graduate of Grayson County College Vocational Nursing program. She had a passion for working with older people throughout her nursing career.
She married Steve Gorham on July 11,1980 in Abilene, Texas. She is survived by her husband, son Sergeant Chance Gorham, USAF, his wife Amber and their 3 children, Seth, Dillon, and Amelia currently of New Jersey. She is also survived by her sister , Terri Damme of Tye, her brother Brian Neal of Savoy and multiple nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Karen had a life long love for animals and old movies. She was known for her kindness, gentle demeanor and being a good conversationalist. We all loved her laugh and sense of humor. We will cherish our memories of her.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to her friends Robbie and Gary Richardson. Robbie was like a sister to her and provided much assistance and care to both Karen and Steve over many years.

I loved Karen's infectious laugh. As noted, she cared for the elderly with a passion. She was a wonderful wife to my brother. She definitely brought out the best in him! Rest in peace, sis. God bless all of our family. See you Friday. Love, Diana, Kevin, & mom
