Kayden Demetrious Payne

Kayden Demetrious Payne entered this world on February 27, 2014. He was so excited and ready to meet his family that he decided to come a month early. From the beginning, baby Kayden had to battle a few complications but his little Heart continued to fight. As happy as we all were to be blessed with such a Sweet Soul, the Lord had other plans for Kayden. Baby Kayden went to sleep and woke up in the hands of our Lord on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Baby Kayden was preceded in death by his sister, Jaden Marie Annette Payne; his baby cousin, Jatavius Tolentino; and uncle, Edward Charles Mason, Jr.

Kayden is survived by his parents, Tevin Payne and Jennifer Flores; brother, Xavier Payne; maternal grandparents, Terry Flores and Billy Thomas; paternal grandparents, Vickie Jones, Lonnie Jones, and Larry Payne; great-grandparents, Martha and Tommy Jones, Nell and Gee Payne, Birdie Jones and Jesse Williams, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Jasmine Flores, Brandon Reed, Tess Tolentino, Shameka Appel, Morgan Payne, Shalonda Hines, Meagan Payne, Michael Payne, Lakysha Jones, and Mary Jane Brooks; and great-aunts, great uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 12:00p.m. in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery Babyland under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at the funeral home.
