Kenneth Nkenchor Isibor, Sr, 61, of Abilene passed away suddenly on December 16, 2021 in Abilene, Texas.
Funeral Services Celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 Hwy. 277 S. Abilene, Texas 79606. Interment will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories.
Kenneth was born on May 18, 1960 in Owa Alidinma, Nigeria his parents were John and Maria(Ukor) Isibor. Kenneth settled and established himself in Abilene, Texas where he raised his family. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic. He was employed with several companies to include Texas Department of Criminal Justice Sgt. (19 years), he was an Entrepreneur, and most recently DayBreak house manager. A lifelong learner and proponent for education he earned his Bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University where he majored in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. He enjoyed going for walks, dining out with kids and friends, watching new films, vacationing, and engaging in political discussions. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and youthful persona. His funny stories, and always being down for a good time. His faith in God, and support for his family. Forever 19.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maria Isibor; his siblings, Joseph Isibor, Jane Isibor, Victoria Isibor, Dele Isibor, Edna Isibor, Mercy Isibor.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Nkenchor Isibor Jr., Kendra Amaka Isibor, and Ashley Destiny Ewere Isibor; his siblings, Christopher Isibor, Sunday Isibor, Kate Isibor; many nieces nephews, other relatives and special friends.
