Lindsey Kohutek Kohutek Culver

Lindsey Kohutek Culver, 26, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on July 7, 2013. Services will be 1:00p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at Beltway Park Baptist Church with Pastor David Cason officiating and Wes Terry assisting. Burial will follow in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 S., Abilene. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at the funeral home.

Lindsey was born on December 24, 1986 in Abilene, TX to parents, Michael and Belinda Kohutek. She was a 2005 graduate of Cooper High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University. Lindsey was a sales representative at Poly Pharmaceuticals and was an avid animal lover with a zest for life. She was a beautiful person inside and out with a contagious smile and fun-loving personality. Lindsey was a blessing and a friend to all who knew her. She did not believe in strangers, just the possibilities of new friendships.

Preceding her in death was her paternal grandmother, Katherine Fae Kohutek; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Barnett.

Survivors include her husband, Brady Culver of Lubbock, TX; parents, Michael and Lori Kohutek, and Belinda Kohutek and friend, Kerry Deal all of Abilene; brother, Cullen Kohutek of Lubbock, TX; step-siblings, Justin Groban of Abilene, Jordan Murphy of Yukon, OK, and Jessika Groban of Norman, OK; paternal grandfather, Albert Kohutek of Ovalo, TX; maternal grandmom, Linda Barnett of Abilene; grandparents, Joyce and Kenneth Wells of Abilene; aunts and uncles, Chris and Teresa Barnett of Abilene, Mike and Mary Barnett of Arlington, TX, Brenda and Benny Holland of Houston, TX, Rhonda and Joe Behrens of Houston, TX, Greg and Vicki Kohutek of Abilene; and numerous loving cousins and dear friends.

Though Lindsey was with us for such a short time, she had a wealth of experience and left a lasting impression and numerous happy memories in all our hearts and minds.
