Michael Elliott Hogan

Michael Elliott Hogan, 65, passed away from a brief illness on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Sugarland, TX. Michael was born on February 11, 1950 to Jack and Billie Bob Elliott Hogan in Abilene, Texas. He met the love of his life, Luz while in Cali, Colombia, South America in 1997. They married two years later in Victoria, Texas and were inseparable for 16 years. Michael was a big hearted, generous, Christian man that was a hard worker and enjoyed life. He was a recently retired pipefitter of over 40 years and had the opportunity to travel the U.S. working with numerous companies. In retirement he was able to pursue his hobby of real estate and was very active in his community. Michael will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Preceding him in death were his father, Jack G. Hogan in 1986, his mother Billie Bob Hogan in 2004; and his brother, Jack E. Hogan in 1997. Survivors include his wife Luz Hogan of Victoria, TX; a son, Timothy Hogan and wife, Amanda of Rosenberg, TX; a daughter, Jennifer L. Mattox of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Hogan of Rosenberg, Taylor and Mason Mattox of Corpus Christi; and an aunt, Gladys Ann Goldsmith of Baird, TX.
