Pamela "Pam" Sue (Jones) Sivells

Funeral Service will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy. 277 S., Abilene, Texas. Interment will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 until 8:00 pm also at the funeral home.

She was born November 28, 1953 in Greenville, MS. Pam was the daughter of a career Air Force family born to Edith and Johnny Jones of San Angelo, TX. She married Denny who became another career Air Force veteran. This afforded Pam the unique opportunity to travel the world for decades living throughout Europe and all over the United States. Few have seen the wonders of the world she has seen sharing those experiences with her closest loved ones. She attended Lakeview High School and Angelo State University while excelling in mathematics, computers and accounting. Pam’s love of children led her to become a teacher’s aide at two elementary schools and children’s church coordinator at her church. Hundreds of kids that she nurtured and loved on are now thriving adults who affectionately still call her, “Ms. Pam”. The world is truly a better place because she was in it.

She is preceded in death by three children - a baby Julie Elizabeth, son Matthew Sivells, son Michael

Sivells and both sets of parents and grandparents.

Pam is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Maj. Dennis Sivells, USAF(Ret.);her son, Mark Sivells. She also left behind the joys of her life with three grandchildren- Mikayla, William and Cade and their mothers Tina and Tabitha all of the Memphis, TN area; sister Sharon Seidenberg and husband Ed, niece Suzanne, and nephews Chad and John. She was also loved by her Indianapolis family sister-in-law Linda (Bobby), brother-in-law Scott (Jami) and nephews Alex, Joey, Bradley.
