Peggy Carter

Peggy Little Carter, 85, of Abilene, passed away January 17, 2022, in Abilene. Peggy was born in Greenville, Texas, to John and Noema Little on April 10, 1936. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1954, and attended East Texas State University. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dale Little. Peggy is survived by her husband Raymond Carter and brother Larry Little of Greenville; three daughters, Terri Low, Sue Brown (Bobby) and Gwen Coonrod (Don); grandchildren Michelle, Kristi, Geno, Daniel, Tiffany, Justin, Corbin, and Chance, and also several great grandchildren. A visitation for Peggy will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, Texas 79605. A graveside will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Memoryland Memorial Park, 808 W. Jack Finney Blvd., Greenville, Texas 75402.
