Becky was born in Abilene, Tx to her father Altus Stark Sr. and Ruth Mae Stark (nee Cooksey). Family lore states she was born in a “warsh pan” in the area known as Jackass Flats. Her method of entry into this world earned her the nickname “Pansy” amongst her family. Becky resided most of her life in Abilene.
As a very young woman she married Kenneth M. Killam in 1964 and bore three children: Kenneth “Kenny” Killam of Merkle, Tx.; Ronda Michelle Ivie (John) of Abilene, Tx., and David Killam (Mary) of Portsmouth, Va. After a divorce, Becky married Roland Gene Bryan Sr. in 1976 and bore a final son; Roland G. Bryan Jr. in 1977. Becky and Roland remained married for 32 years until the passing of Roland in October of 2008. As a mature woman, Becky then sought follow-on companionship and met Stan Watson in late 2013. Becky and Stan were married in 2015 and remained so until her passing.
Becky was one of 6 children. She had two older sisters; Idella Hickey (Gene), and Alvie Sewell (Elliott) and three younger brothers; Altus Stark Jr., George Stark, and Sam Stark (Becky) all of Abilene, Tx.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Idella and Alvie, and her grandson J.D.
Becky is watching over her husband Stan, her three younger brothers, her children, her five grandchildren (Desiree, Kevin, Richard, Abigail, and Sarah), and five great-grandchildren (Jaden, Zachery, Greyson, Freya, and Adriel).
Becky had a warm and caring personality, a golden smile, and a wonderful sense of humor. Never one to meet a stranger, she made many friends from the beginning of her school age until her final days. She loved to dance and eventually started singing Karaoke. Along with the sweetness that she exuded; she also had a sassy side that those closest to her fondly remember.
Those that were touched by her life will cherish the gift of her.
