Born August 06, 1957, Richard was a beloved father and grandfather. He was known most for his humor and charisma. Prior to retiring, he worked in masonry and created beautiful work for most of his adult life.
He lived a beautiful life full of love and cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. He was the life of the party and lit up every room he walked into with his bright smile and infectious laugh, with his signature sign, of holding his chest from laughing so hard. Though he was terrible with names, he knew no stranger and easily made friends. Everyone was considered his “buddy,” or “girl”. To know him, was to love him.
Though our lives will forever be missing a piece in this physical world, he has left a lasting imprint on all of our hearts that we will carry with us until we are reunited. He leaves behind a legacy of love, guidance, and enduring memories.
He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Martinez and granddaughter Janiya Martinez.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Chris Martinez (wife Olinda), Richard Martinez , Stephen Martinez, and Jessania Martinez; grandsons, Dominique Salas, Francisco Salas, Richard Martinez Jr., Lorenzo Martinez, Jude Martinez, Stephen Martinez Jr., Zaine Martinez; granddaughters, Alexis Salas, Aliana Martinez, Leilani Martinez, Mariah Martinez; brother and sisters, and numerous family members and friends.
