Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Marie Ellison and George Bob Ake, and by his older brother, Bob Edward Ake.
He is survived by his brothers Harold Ake of Plano, Texas; Dennis Ake of Venus, Texas; Tim Ellison of Abilene, Texas; and Mickey Ellison of Abilene, Texas; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved as his own.
Ronnie was a devoted and caring individual, known for his friendship and devotion to Martin Jenson and Erika Wiginton. He had a heart full of compassion, especially for animals, and often gave his time to volunteer and care for them. He was a sharp-dressed man who loved to shop, enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, and brought joy to those around him with his fun-loving spirit. Many will fondly remember his love of Dr. Pepper and the way he always carried a piece of gum.
Ronnie’s kindness, humor, and generosity will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts and stories of family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
