I have only known Scottie for the short time of about fifteen years and he always had a smile. He surely did have trials in his life but he kept on smiling. Scottie loved roping and always enjoyed spending time with the cowboys that dropped by on Sunday afternoon for some laughs and fun roping steers. He was a genuine friend and will surely be missed by all his family and all his friends.
Rest is peace now, Scottie.

Scotty Holland and Sandra Flowers were married when they were 15 & 16 years old. They had 2 girls Carla Holland Strange & Kaye Holland Flores. Hello my name is Kaye over the years I really didn't get to spend a lot of time with my Dad. No blame on anyone for that, sometimes in life things just work out that way. I do know that I loved my father and cherished the times I had with my father and I love him for the awesome bothers and sisters he gave me. Carla.. Lana..Elizabeth..Angie..Brian..Glenn...and baby sister Janelle. And 2 awesome step mother's Sandra & Irene. Some of the most fun we had was the street dances we would go to.
I love you Dad,
You will TRUELY be missed. Much Love & Respect. REST ~ IN ~ PEACE. Cowboy
Your Daughter,

I was so sad to read that Scottie had died. I remember Scottie as a grade schooler when I was in high school in Richland Springs. About eight months ago we connected on Facebook and enjoyed chatting via Messenger in the early mornings. I was especially interested in what he could remember, turned out not very much, about the bakery his dad opened and operated in Richland Springs. He was a delight to visit with and I shall miss him. Please accept my sincere sympathy and prayers for all of his family.

Scottie and I are long lost cousins. We had recently exchanged messages on Facebook just before he passed on.
God bless you Scottie.
