Stephen Howard Fielder

Steve went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, after a lengthy illness. A memorial tribute to Steve’s life will held on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church Chapel located at North 2nd and Orange Street in Abilene, TX.

Steve was born August 29, 1952 in Abilene, TX. He was a long time carpenter who took great pride in his work. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Steve married Susan Roberts Keesee on April 24, 1999 in Abilene, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carolyn Fielder of Abilene, TX.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years; step-children Steven Keesee of Sumner, WA; Heather McDougal and husband, Brian of San Angelo, TX; step-grandsons Brandon Spaulding of Ft. Hood, TX and Garett Keesee of Sumner, WA; brothers Mike Fielder of Albuquerque, NM; Richard Fielder and wife, Karen of DeSoto, TX; and sister Janie Fielder Rogers of Keller, TX and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
