Susie Roberts

Susie Bell Roberts, born in Buffalo Gap, Texas on April 22, 1918 went home to our Heavenly Father on May 29, 2011. Graveside services will be 10:00a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Buffalo Gap Cemetery with Pastor Don Greenwood officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 5 to 7p.m at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.

Susie was the anchor of the family and her family was her life. She loved to crochet and won blue ribbons for her quilts. Susie also loved to square dance and make jewelry.

Preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Roberts and daughter-in-law Brenda Little.

Survivors include her children, Fred C. Little of Carrollton, TX, James and Sharolet Little of Abilene, Sue and Allan Rice of Great Falls, VA, Dale and Mary Roberts of Abilene, and a brother William H. Allison of Abilene; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild.
