

Thelma Jo Fraser, age 84, passed away at Gateway Garden Retirement Center, Marble Falls, TX on December 28, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30th in Midway Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jo was born July 4, 1928 in Dallas, TX to George Warren Hudson and Dixie Lou Northam Hudson. She married Harold Lloyd Fraser on July 7, 1945 in Baird, TX. She was a longtime resident of Coahoma, TX and past member of Coahoma Baptist Church. She was currently a member of Wylie Baptist Church in Abilene.
Mom loved her family. She was a loving and faithful wife for 50 years. She loved the Lord and her church and loved to sing in the choir. Her hobbies included singing, painting, gardening, and cooking.
Thelma Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Jim Hudson and Don Hudson.
She is survived by her children, Dwayne & Kay Fraser of Stephenville, TX, Senator Troy and Linda Fraser of Horseshoe Bay, TX and Steve and Karen Fraser of Kingsland, TX; her grandchildren, Carey and Julie Fraser of Stephenville, TX, Chase and Tina Fraser of Boulder, CO, Sunny and Craig Knocke of Dallas, TX, Andrew Fraser of Austin, TX, Matthew Fraser of Chicago, IL, Lauren and Blair Nutting of Irving, TX, and Taylor Fraser of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren: Caryss Fraser of Stephenville, TX, Chloe Fraser and Quinn Fraser of Boulder, CO and Davis Knocke and Conner Knocke of Dallas, TX; sisters, Judy Burrow of Sweetwater, TX and Melba Hay of Hawley, TX, numerous nephews, nieces and close friends.
