Anthony “Tony” Ligon 75 years old, passed away on September 7, 2023 in Celina, TX.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at 9:00 AM on Saturday September 16, 2023 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo, TX with The United States Navy presenting honors. Services are under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home in Abilene ,TX 79606.
Tony was born in Stamford, TX to Arno Buie Ligon and Sarah Smith on July 11, 1948. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1969. Tony was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at The Pizza Place for 6 years, then retired from Norton’s in Stephenville, TX after working there for 28 years. He loved Nascar and running his remote controlled cars. He was a kind, loving and wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. Tony will be truly missed by all.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael Paige Ligon.
