	Carolyn and Patsy were two little girls, one blonde, one red, they both sported curls.

	Cousins and best friends they’d walk arm and arm, they loved to spend summer on their Grandpa's farm.

	They were good little girls though sometimes made trouble, Uncle Don just knew that, that trouble was double.

	They loved new adventure and would have a good time, in the fields would play, in the hayloft would climb.

	"Hey, what a great place to build a fort", except someone got mad, guess who’s a spoil sport.

	They’d holler real loud down the old corn silo, and laugh when their voice would come back in an echo.

	Down the ladder they’d climb, to the barn below, and watch Grandpa clean stalls and feed pigs lined in a row.

	They’d run down the back lane with dog in the lead, to grandpa’s voice calling...grazing cows did heed.

	Here bossie, co bossie, co bossie, co, it was time for milking and dog brought them home.

	The day was always filled with laughter and fun and with a little bit of trouble that irked Uncle Don.

	In a distance they’d hear Grandma ring the big bell, time for their dinner, they had stories to tell.

	I had the best fun with cousin Carolyn.  Being at the farm was not quite the same if she wasn't there to play with.  We did manage to get into all sorts of mischief and I am sure Uncle Don was heard right though to the next concession when we got found out.  We flattened the field of clover or grain when we decided to make a many roomed house.  We played in the old truck, put it in neutral and it rolled down into the wood pile.  We broke the cistern pump and for sure Uncle Don was not happy with our fort in the hayloft.  We loved sitting on the two horses, Molly and Dolly and took great pleasure in braiding their manes.  One day we begged grandpa to let us ride the horses when he took them out to the fields which was a lot of fun until he turned them to the direction of the barn. The ride then became worse than a roller coaster and we each hung onto the horse collars for dear life.  I was never so happy to see the barn as I was that day.  Grandpa just chuckled.....he probably knew.

	Summer holidays on Carolyn's family farm was every bit as wonderful though we didn't seem to get into too much trouble!  We played house in the old chicken coop, ran though the corn field, played by the creek and enjoyed games of baseball with firends Murray, Allan, Bill and others. And oh how I remember all the wonderful pies that were ready for eating during thrashing!

	I am so blessed to have so many wonderful memories of being with you Carolyn.  It saddens me that we did not get to sit in rocking chairs and recount those good old days.  Rest in peace dear cousin, you will always be in my heart and as I told you, each ride I have on the Harley, I dedicate to you.

	 


No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our deepest condolences and heart felt prayers to all the family.



Carolyn was one of the nicest people that we had ever met.
Without any doubts we know that God now has a new Angel.


Dear Bernie and family:   I remember Carolyn as being the best (and shyest, least political) lead clarinet I have ever known.   You two were a good part of the heart and soul of our Guelph Concert Band in the 1990's.  She and her music live on, in my memory.    With deepest sympathy, Elaine Harrison.

It's so hard to say good-bye to someone so special.  She was a very caring person and her life was cut too short.  Thank God for all the wonderful memories to live on in everyone's heart forever.

Carolyn was a wonderful sister in law and Grandma next door thought the world of her as a daughter in law.  She will always be a big part of my life with many, many fond and cherished memories.

We extend our sympathy to all the family and especially to our old friend Eileen and also to all the Early family We know how sad it is for a child to go ahead of one of us.  The best to all.  Joan & Stan

I am so sorry to hear about your loss!  I have great memories of your mom. Always a happy woman with a big smile. I know this is a really difficult time and I am sending lots of love and strength your way.
