

He will be deeply missed by Matilda, his loving wife of 65 years, as well as his children: Alice (Kevin) Hickey, Barbara Galway, Margaret (Paul) Hammond, Mary (Ken) Albert, Agnes (Gord) Byrne, Betty Hustler, John (Cindy) Gunn, Donna (and the late Lance) Morin, the late Ann Marie Gunn, Teena (Peter) Vlietstra, Ted (Lisa) Gunn and Paula (Frank) Paul.
Poppy will also be greatly missed by his 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, his sister Mary (Angus) Stone and family and sister-in-law Bun Gunn.
Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Gunn, and his brother James Gunn.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.at the Gordon McCutcheon Hall of the Royal Canadian Legion, 15 Wright Avenue in Acton for a Celebration of Ted’s Life.
There will be a private family interment.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
