She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene (1983).
Gloria was the loving daughter of Florence and the late Henry Elwood.
She is survived by her family Esther Bradler, Terri Mitchell, Missy Gale, Tim Miller and Steph Miller, as well as her fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her siblings: Bob Elwood and his wife Barb, Roberta and her late husband Victor Spicer,
Rick Elwood and the late Brian Elwood and her extended family and friends from all over Acton and Guelph.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Thursday, July 31st from 11 a.m. until the funeral service which will be held in the “Shoemaker Chapel” at one o’clock.
Private cremation will follow.
Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
