H. Lorne Doberthien

He was the loving husband of June and the devoted father of Lisa Doberthien of Vancouver Island and Leann Hamilton (John) of Milton.

He was the much loved “Poppa” of Dean and Danielle and “Uncle Lornie” to his nieces Jennifer and Catherine (Ken) and their families from Ottawa. Lorne will be missed by his sister-in-law Jacqueline (the late Mel Blow) and was predeceased by his sister Ann (the late Bill Moore).

The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, “Shoemaker Chapel”, 55 Mill Street, Acton on Monday, September 7th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Friends are invited to meet the family at

Knox Presbyterian Church, 44 Main Street North, Acton on Tuesday from one o’clock until the funeral service which will be conducted at two o’clock.

The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Acton.

Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family.
