Jessie Marion Coles

Jessie Marion Coles passed away peacefully, on October 5, 2022 at Extendicare Halton Hills, in her 104th year. Jessie was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Alice Coles her brother Ernest and nephews Hartley and Paul Coles. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew Joan McKeon, Denise Bottomley, Terry Coles and Patricia Coles. As long as they can remember “Aunt Jess” was a caring and loving presence in their lives. Jessie will be fondly remembered by a large

extended family and friends.

She was a lifelong resident of Acton working for many years managing the Sear’s order office. Jessie was a member of the Acton Baptist Church, the Curling Club, the Tennis Club and was an Akela of the Acton Cub Scouts. She enjoyed travelling, especially “across the pond”. In her later years she spent many hours knitting vests for third world countries. We would like to thank the staff of Eden House and Extendicare Halton Hills for their kind and compassionate care of Jessie.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill St. E., Acton on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment at Fairview Cemetery to follow.
