Kathleen Leslie Vaughan Johnston

Leslie passed away at home in the company of her family on Monday, September 21, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was in her 66th year. Leslie was the beloved wife, partner and co-pilot of Bob (“Robin”) for more than 44 years and the loving mother of Shannon and her husband Gord Furzer of Acton and Patrick and his wife Tracey of Halifax. Leslie was a devoted “Nana” to Sydney, Grace, Stuart, Geneen and Graeme Furzer and Riley and Quincey Johnston. She will be missed by “Auntie” Anne, Judy and Dave, Wanda and Cliff, Pat and Rick, Bruce and Sherrill, Joe and many other friends. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Ray Vander Kooij at Beth-El Christian Reformed Church, 356 Queen Street East, Acton on Friday, September 25th at eleven o’clock followed by a private cremation. Remembrances to C.A.S.H.H., the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
