Kevin Maginess peacefully passed away on January 2, 2026, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph age 81 years. Beloved and devoted husband of Janice Anita (née Topping) for 52 years. Loving father of David Maginess. Cherished poppy of Kara, and Melissa. He was predeceased by his 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Kevin will be missed by his extended family in Canada, Northern Ireland, the U.K, and his close friends Marion and Ross Swackhamer.
Kevin enjoyed gardening, working on his boat and model airplanes.
A visitation will be held at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. East, Acton, ON, L7J1H4 on January 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Mackinnon Family Funeral Home on January 9, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Interment will take place at Coningsby cemetery in the spring.
