He was Irene’s devoted husband and best friend for 37 years and the dear father of Rae and his wife Simara.
He is survived by his brothers: Jimmy, Johnny, and David and his sisters: Christine, Susan and Kathleen,
as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ray was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1955. The family wish to express their appreciation to Dr. Paul Zeni, the kind and wonderful nurses of Palliative Care at Georgetown Hospital and to the CCAC caregivers.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, Ontario, on Monday, March 19th, 2012 from one o’clock until the funeral service which will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Bulbrook in the “Shoemaker Chapel” at three o’clock.
Cremation will follow at Evergreen Crematorium.
