He will be missed by his children, Casey and Shannon and their mother Penny.
He was a devoted grandfather to Salem and will be missed by his sister Mary and her husband Steven Bailey.
Sammy was the uncle of Shelagh and Janisse and the great uncle of Cora and Audrey.
He was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Robert.
Missing his presence are his feline companions Farley and Deek.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Friday, March 28th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted in the “Shoemaker Chapel” at 8:30 p.m.
There will be a private interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
