Dear Gary, Jared and Kristin,
Please be assured of our love  and prayers as you journey through the deep grief of our beloved Vicki's "home going" into her heavenly home. We are with you in our constant thoughts and prayers. Trusting you will know our Lord's peace, comfort and strength during these difficult days. The memories of our Atwood and Listowel school days, Wasaga Beach summers, Atwood Presbyterian choir and young peoples' ministries and intimately sharing our weddings together will always keep happy and loving times close. You are loved💞🙏🏻

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Vicki's family. For right now, there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry, or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. We are so saddened to hear tonight of Vicky's passing. She was a strong and wonderful gentle lady.  We enjoyed many chats and I had no idea she was struggling so badly. Far too young to be gone. We are thinking of you all, especially the precious little boys who will miss their Grandma so much.  Hugs to all,

We are so very sad to hear about Vicki's passing.  Where do I start, I met Vicki 43 years ago when I first came to Canada and started my first job at TEG hospital, that was the start of a very happy and long friendship. It spanned moves, trips, babies, Wasaga beach holidays and so on.   We have had many a laugh and a few tears, but through it all our friendship lasted.  The O'Donnell family and most of our extended family are all saddened at your loss.  Thinking of you all and saying special prayers.

To Gary, Jared, Kristin, Grandsons that I have yet to meet and, of course to my Campbell Cousins.  I am sadden to hear this news and please know that I am thinking of you all.  Vicki always lit up a room in the best of ways.  I always knew that regardless of how many years had passed, there would always be a firm hug, a big smile, and a welcoming way.  Our collective times together at 158 Eagle Ave and in Atwood are integral to who I am and I am forever grateful to have these memories.  Our moms were such great friends and, sometimes I think because they had so much fun together, we did too.  I appreciated the support that Vicki provided when Mary Ann, Larry and I had to say goodbye to our parents and then again when Larry left us a bit earlier than expected. My good thoughts and wishes are with you all now. Goodbye Vicki Fern. Laurie    

We are sad to hear about Vicky. She was a good lady, a quiet, no nonsense neighbour and a great grandmother to the boys. She went to as many hockey and soccer games of theirs as she could, and we would often see her outside playing with her grandsons too. She has been called to Glory with the heavenly Father and is now at His side. Praying for the family as you all struggle through this hard time, and as you say goodbye for now to Vicky. May you feel God's presence as the days pass.
