He was the beloved husband of Geraldine Gardner for more than 69 years and was the loving father of Bill Jr. (Donna) and Ken (Susan).
Bill was the dear Popa of Karilynne (Rob), Tracey (Jamie), Brad (Vanessa), Amanda, Jessica (Sean), Will (Selena), Linsay and Vincent, and the great Popa of Zackari, Kolton, Cameron, Kaleb, Seth and Chance.
He was a long-time employee and retired Secretary-Treasurer of Victory Soya Mills Ltd.
A private family gathering in his memory was held in Acton on Sunday, February 15, 2009.
Bill has been cremated and will be buried in the spring in Midland, Ontario where he was born on September 19, 1917.
