Mary Martinez

Maria (Mary) De la Torre Martinez, born on November 26, 1937, passed away on November 29, 2025. She led a life marked by love, family, and a passion for various hobbies. Among her interests, Maria enjoyed reading, engaging in word search puzzles, cross stitching, and cherishing moments spent with her family.

Maria is survived by her sons Ray (Lupe) Martinez and Julian (vicky) Martinez, her daughters Rebecca (Cesar) Varela and Anna Maria Martinez, and her siblings Tony de la Torre, Lucy Nunez, and Lupe Camarillo. She also leaves behind two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were a significant part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert B Martinez, as well as her parents Manuel de la Torre and Jesuista de la Torre. Additionally, Maria was predeceased by her brothers Jose, Canuto, and Manuel.

A service will be held Friday December 19th in Ajo, Arizona at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church starting at 9:30 AM and a burial following at Ajo Cemetery. Maria's legacy continues through her family, who will remember her fondly for the love and warmth she brought into their lives.
