She was a lifetime resident of Akron and graduated from North High School in 1951. She was multi-talented: a seamstress, childcare provider, beautician and sales associate, and her last occupation was at Todaro's Party Center. Patty was born Jan. 20, 1933 to biological parents, Robert Paul Smith and Arbe Humphrey Smith, and adopted by Thomas Clark and Alice Clark.
Preceded in death by her biological parents and her adopted parents; two brothers, Kelly Smith and Bobby Smith; one son, Danny Delaney; and adored mother-in-law, Eva Delaney; Patty is survived by husband, Ronald N. Delaney; children, Michael (Tangi) Delaney, Timmy Delaney, Raeti Taylor and Roland Delaney, all of Akron, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren one-great-great-grandchild; four sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and special friend, Renetta Otis.
