Betty J Lindroth

She was born July 12, 1932, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Estill Aaron and Lucille (Rodgers) Roach. Betty graduated from Falls High School and was an office worker for Ohio Edison.

Betty attended an art school in New York for a brief period. She enjoyed decorating her home and tending to her flower gardens. Betty had a fondness for cats and adopted many over the years.

Betty was married to Ernest “Lindy” Lindroth, and spent several years overseas as he moved around for work. They lived in England, Sweden, Northern Ireland, France, and Taiwan.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest Lindroth, and her sister Mary Ruth Boise. She is survived by several loving extended family members, including nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 11:30 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park beside her husband.
