Dr. Cyril A. Jendrisak, age 94, of Stow, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. Cyril was born August 3, 1930 in Snowshoe, Pennsylvania to the late John and Johanna (Ciprich) Jendrisak.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Jendrisak, his children, Joseph (Karen), Theresa (Brad), Laura, and Cheryl (Charles), Sherry's children, Jeffrey, Beth Ann, Lisa, Todd, and Shannon; 16 total grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. several cousins and many friends.
Cyril graduated from Western Reserve School of Dentistry in 1960 and began his practice in Akron and later moving to Tallmadge, he also worked at Summa Dental and Summit County Jail, Cyril was known to many as "Dr. Cy".
Cyril's hobbies included woodworking, flying, building model airplanes, reading, and listening to classical music. He was a proud veteran serving the US Army during the Korean War. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Victory Parish, he also attended St. Hilary Catholic Church where he and Sherry were married.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his nine siblings, Joseph, Ann, Andrew, John, Aloisius, Dominic, Josephine, Frances, and George.
Calling hours for Cyril will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home & Burial Park, 3653 W Market St, Akron, Ohio 44333. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
