Darlene Marie Tepus passed on July 14, 2026, at the age of 89.
Darlene was born December 3, 1936, in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Bessie Dick. She was a resident of Akron, Ohio.
Darlene was married to the love of her life Charles Tepus for 72 years before his passing on February 1, 2025.
Although she held various jobs throughout her life, she prided herself in creating a warm and loving home for her family. She had fun attending bingo and enjoyed collecting stuffed animals. If anyone wanted to brighten her day, Darlene loved receiving flowers. No one was a stranger to Darlene as she seemed to know and remember everyone that had the honor of meeting her and treasuring her friendship.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father and mother Paul & Bessie Dick; her husband Charles Tepus; her daughter Diane Templeton; her granddaughter Lisa Templeton; and her brothers Glen Dick and Paul Dick Jr.
She is survived by her sons Charles Tepus Jr. (Juanita), Pete Tepus (Cecile), Jerry Tepus (Kelley), and George Tepus (Becky), and leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home & Burial Park, 3653 W Market St, Akron, Ohio 44333, on July 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Calling Hour will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home & Burial Park on July 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, burial, and memorial meal.
