

Donna was born on October 8, 1936 in Akron to the late Francis and Helen Wood. She was a graduate of Copley High School, class of 1954. She worked for the O’Neil Company and Lorain Products as well as being the co-founder of the Western Reserve Lamp Works with her late husband, a business they held for over 40 years. Donna also co-owned and operated the Spinning Wheel Yarn Shop in Avon. Donna was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Elyria, Ohio. Donna began the Ugly Quilt Project at St. Andrew’s sewing quilts for the needy and homeless for over 20 years. She enjoyed rug hooking and spending time at her summer house on Put-In-Bay with her family, dogs and friends. Donna was a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Quisenberry, her son Michael Quisenberry, her great granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Anderson and her siblings, Ralph Wood, Joyce George, Charles Wood, and Dora Blaine. Donna is survived by her son Jon (Caren) Quisenberry, her daughter Jody (James) Klejka, six grandchildren, Megan (Tony Gagnon) Quisenberry, Jason (Stefanie Coriveau) Quisenberry, Justin (Nicole) Quisenberry, Allison (Colin) Anderson, John Klejka and Gabrielle Klejka as well as two great grandsons, Brooks and Noah Anderson. Donna also leaves her brother Jerry (Linda) Wood, her sister-in-law Doris Wood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 11 AM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 300 3rd Street, Elyria, Ohio. Interment will be in the St. Andrew’s Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
