Our Mom fought her cancer battle and now has gone to Jesus. She will be sadly missed by her children: Barbara Sparhawk, Charles (Maureen) Swaney, Vincent (Polly-deceased) Ferris, Jeffery Ferris, Michelle (Jack-deceased) Eaton, Mica Kirn. Her grandchildren are Elizabeth (Bryan) King, Rachel Sparhawk, Mikayla Kirn, and blessed Andrew Kirn (deceased). Her great grandchildren are Thomas (Katie) & Jarod King, Katie & Lauren Curtis, Clay McQuown and Aiden Kirn; with the newest being her great-great grandchild, Blaine King.
She was ready for the hereafter with her mother, Ruby Moncer, and joining her husband Michael Ferris so she could elbow him and tell him “I’m here”.
A private burial was held at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.stjude.com in Doris’ name.
