Fadi Debs

Fadi Debs was born April 16th 1965 in Beirut, Lebanon, the middle child of Micheline and the Late Chaker Debs. Fadi passed unexpectedly on August 6th 2023 although welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Fadi came to the United States in 1977 with his parents and siblings and embraced his new home with enthusiasm. He graduated from Akron North High School and was self-employed in various construction jobs.

Fadi was the jokester and always the life of the party. A child at heart, Fadi’s greatest joy was the love he shared with highschool sweetheart Shalena, watching their beautiful children grow who gave them their biggest pride and joy, their fifteen grandkids whom he cherished every moment with.

His energetic and engaging personality will be missed by all. His memory will be cherished forever.

Fadi was preceded in death by his father Chaker Debs.

Survived by his wife Shalena, mother Micheline (Sadie) Debs, sister Marlene (Rick) Stalnaker, and brother Tanios (Mirna) Debs; children Sean, Kristen(Adam), Amanda(Derrick), Hannah(Brock) and Joel and grandchildren Aubrey, Hailie, Madelyn, Emma, Natalie, Elaina, Sierra, Thea, Gavyn, Matthew, Gracie, Kash, Serena, Eden, Everlie with one on the way; his aunts and uncles and many nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Fadi will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W Market St, Akron, Ohio, prayer service at 7:00 PM. There will also be a visitation on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Road, Fairlawn, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at St. George Orthodox Church. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
