Florence was born in Dola, West Virginia on January 14, "Every Year" to the late Coy and Esther Zirkle and step-mother Virginia Zirkle.
Florence was a graduate of Garfield High School, She worked for the May Company for over 36 years, and volunteered at the Barberton Hospital Gift Shop. Florence was a charter member of The Hillwood Chapel.
Florence was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed camping, traveling with her family, She also liked to Sew, including making dolls for project Rise with her daughter, Laura. She was the biggest sports fan when it came to her children and grandchildren attending many games. Florence's greatest love was her family.
Besides her parents, Florence is preceded in death by her in-laws, George and Hazel Williams, her brother Dan Zirkle, Brothers-in-law, Melvin Burk and Doug Blevins; sisters-in-law, Alice Goodwin and Margaret Williams.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband, George Williams, who together celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary; her daughters, Jill Williams and Laura (Steve) Evans, her son Mark Williams. She also leaves her grandchildren, Clayton (Jeanna) Evans, Ryan Evans, and Nick (Brooklyn) Williams; her sister, Neva Burk, her brother-in-law Larry Goodwin, and her sister-in-law and life long friend, Marian Blevins. She also had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she cherished along the way.
She was surrounded by her loving family who cared for her in her final days, It was an honor to all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family may call 11AM-12PM Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St. in Akron, where the funeral service will begin at Noon with Pastor Curtis Jones. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
