Gayla graduated from Copley High School and later worked many years for the Copley-Fairlawn School
System and Copley Place. She was passionate about her family, dogs, and home. She loved lying in the sun and making everything she touched a little brighter. The best summers were spent along the Atlantic Coast, with family. Gardening, decorating, and redecorating was her forte, but she would put herself second to anyone and influenced the lives of so many, for the best.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mark; sons, Kevin and Curtis (fiancé' Mindy); sisters, Kathleen Lenze (Paul Slota), Charlotte Senn, Heather Albright (Mike); brother, Rodger S. Post (Patty); Step father, William Heinbuch; Brother in law, Michael Macner (Dori); many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and best friend Lynn Bowling Fleming.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2pm at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market Street, Fairlawn where the family will receive friends 12 noon until time of service.
