1926 in Akron, Ohio, to Wiliam E. Tann and Helga (nee Johnson) Tann, both deceased. Beloved wife of
62 years of Edwin (Ted) A. Schneider (deceased, 2013). She is survived by children Gretchen Nahas
(Michael), Gail Schneider and Mark Schneider (Lynn Plichta Schneider); Grandchildren Michael Russell
Nahas (Andrea), William Edwin Nahas (Susan) and Robert Leland Plichta (Amanda). Gloria earned her
Masters Degree in Library Science and worked at Lakewood Public Library before joining her husband in
1951 in Utah while he was serving in the Army. Gloria dearly loved her family, friends, dogs, cats,
antiques and books. The family is truly grateful that Gloria and Ted are finally reunited and resting in
peace. Love to you both.
