Ilona was born June 30, 1934 in Hungary to the late Ference and Ilona Szabo. Ilona immigrated from Hungary in 1956. She loved animals, especially cats.
Spending time with family was paramount to Ilona, She was especially fond of her grandson who brought her much joy.
Ilona is survived by her daughter Zita Radune, her son-in-law Charles Radune, and her beloved grandson Embry Radune.
Friends and family will gather 11AM, Tuesday, August 25th in the Chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market Street in Akron. Entombment in Rose hill Burial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County and/or One of a Kind Pet Rescue.
