Janice was born June 24, 1949, daughter of the late Richard and Betty Schnee.
She grew up in Stow and graduated from Stow High School, she then graduated from Kent State University.
Janice began work with Goodyear in the summer of 1969 and worked there for 35 years as Goodyear Aerospace which became Loral, Aircraft Braking Systems, Meggitt, and K&F Industries. She served in positions as contracting administrator and contracting manager.
In her retirement she designed and produced birthday, holiday, and other occasion cards that were greatly admired by family and friends.
She and her husband loved traveling and especially Hawaii and Las Vegas. Janice supported the following charities: Western Reserve PBS, St. Jude Hospitals, Toys for Tots, and our National Park System.
Janice is survived by her husband of 51 years Richard, her sisters Andrea Schnee and Susan Hamn, her brother Don Schnee and his wife Marie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 10am-12pm Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3563 West Market Street in Akron. where a short service will begin at Noon. Interment will be at 2pm in Rose Hill Burial Park.
