Born on April 25, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, John was a resident of Hartville, Ohio.
John was the beloved son of the late William Milne and Zadie "Rosie" Milne-Silea. He was predeceased by his brother, William Allen Milne, sister, Jacqueline Lee Milne, and his son, John Michael Milne. He is survived by his sisters, Michelle Anderson and Mary Taub (Brian), as well as his nephew, William Brian Milne, and other nieces and nephews.
John graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He proudly served in the Navy and later retired from the United States Post Office.
A man of varied interests, John was passionate about weight lifting and bodybuilding. He was a voracious reader and enjoyed video and computer gaming. John was also a born again Christian through the Church of Christ in Hartville and devoted his life to Christ.
He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his unwavering faith.
