Judith Ann Partridge

Judie was born on July 11, 1939 in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School.

Judie was a secretary at Goodyear Aerospace, where she met her husband. She also worked at A.H.E.A.D., NEOUCOM, and S. D. Myers.

She enjoyed her family, painting ceramics, gardening, reading, needlework, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, and projects around the house.

Judie was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Dick W. Partridge; parents, Clifford and Elizabeth Flege; brother, Richard Flege; niece, Julie Flege; and nephew, Kyle Flege.

She is survived by daughter, Patty Dietz; sons, Jeffrey (Jeanne) Partridge and Todd Partridge; grandchildren, Cody Partridge, Katie (Michael) DelBonis, Hailey (Brian) Elrod, and Sydney Partridge; great grandchildren, Lucy and Jonah DelBonis, and Marilyn and Zoey Partridge; siblings, Cliff (Bobbi) Flege, Tom (Julie) Flege, Mark Flege, Mary (Larry) Noel; sister-in-law, Karen Flege, and many nieces and nephews.

Judie treasured her family and friends, her fellow ceramics painters at the Quirk Center, and the Neighborhood Ladies’ Luncheons.

Her children are grateful to her brother Mark who helped care for her and cooked her “wonderful, gourmet meals”, in her words, and for the staff at Heather Knoll.

Calling hours will be Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at The Light in Kent, 1417 South Water Street, Kent, Ohio. The funeral begins at 12:00 noon, officiated by Larry Noel. Interment will be at the Tallmadge Cemetery.
