Kenneth R Dutro

Kenneth Raymond Dutro, 87, died March 7, 2018, after a productive and loving life.
Ken was born in Akron Ohio, served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and settled in Kent with his wife, Mary Ann, to pursue his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemical Engineering from Kent State University. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Kent since 1957, Masonic Lodge (Rockton Lodge No. 316), Tadmor Shrine Temple, Akron and various professional affiliations in the fields of Engineering and Polymers. He shared his love for animals, flowers, music and the beach with his family.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters Kenda (Jeff) Kline and Kalle (James) Pugliese, both of Stow; grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Allison, and Emily; his sisters Joyce DeGroff and Gara (William) Hoffman; nephews and niece.
The Dutro family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Heritage of Hudson for the extraordinary care and heartfelt love they provided.
Celebration of Life including Military Burial Honors and Masonic Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 16th in the Mausoleum Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park; Rev Amy Gopp, officiating. Please meet at the Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 West Market Street Fairlawn OH at 10:30 AM for the procession to the chapel.
With gratitude and to acknowledge the caregivers at Summa Hospice, memorials may be made to Summa Health Foundation, PO Box 2090, Akron, Ohio 44398, with a designation to Hospice, in Ken’s memory.
